Whack a Mole Limitations.

One limitation of the study resulted from the composition of the screen-based and the physical artefact groups: different sizes, different academic abilities and with a non-ideal gender balance. A solution to the problem would be to administer the pre-test and then create groups based on the scores. In this case, that would have disrupted the established groups within the class. The sample size was small and the assessment instrument was new, neither of which allowed repetition and hence more formal statistical analysis of the responses.
